Individual Sessions

Individual

Sessions

Welcome to the journey! In this Pathwork counseling space, we listen deeply to what your life is asking of you—integrating mind, body, and spirit so you can reconnect with inner guidance, release old conditioning, and live with greater authenticity and ease.

Pathwork is a psycho-spiritual path of transformation. In individual sessions, we work together to explore the patterns, defenses, and beliefs that shape your experience — and gently, honestly, meet what lies beneath them. This is not therapy, though it can be profoundly healing. It is inner work: the willingness to look, to feel, and to grow.

Individual sessions offer confidential and compassionate support as you learn to integrate Pathwork principles. My approach combines aspects of yoga, Ayurveda, and Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) to support a grounded mind–body–spirit connection. Together, we’ll build insight, practical tools, and inner listening you can bring into relationships, work, and daily life.

Individual sessions start at $70 for 60 minutes. Payment is due when booking and is accepted via PayPal through Calendly scheduling platform. Currently offering virtual sessions via Zoom.

The process is simple and unhurried. Here is what to expect:

  1. Complete the self-reflection form. Set aside about 10–15 minutes in a quiet space. There are no right or wrong answers — simply respond from wherever you are right now. Click to begin your self-reflection →
  2. I’ll be in touch by email within 2–3 business days to schedule your free 20-minute introductory meeting. This is a chance for us to connect, ask questions, and sense whether working together is the right fit.
  3. If we decide to move forward, we’ll schedule your first full session and discuss the ongoing rhythm of our work together.

Why Do Individual Sessions?

When interacting with others, sometimes our own stuff comes to the surface. In individual sessions we can look for patterns to see if there’s clues about our own healing work:

  • A person in the group reminds you of a parent, and you realize there’s some healing work to be done in that relationship.
  • You find yourself arguing with a female friend, the same way you do with your sister.
  • Someone from the previous generation sees the world like your elders, and you no longer want to live from that perspective.

Instead of focusing on external events or the other person, there’s an opportunity to consider why these events reoccur in our lives and offer tools to become more empowered and grounded in how we interact with others. Individual sessions are a place to dive deeper into what blocks us from making the types of connections we desire.

How the Work Unfolds

Phase one

Meeting what is

We bring awareness to the defenses, images , patterns, and emotional material that have shaped your life. This is not about blame — it is about honest, compassionate seeing.

Phase two

Moving toward wholeness

As awareness deepens, we cultivate the positive qualities and inner resources that were always present beneath the surface — love, clarity, aliveness, and spiritual connection.

Personal Growth and Transformation

Personal growth can be an ongoing process driven by personal responsibility and consistent action rather than external blame. It requires using resources and support (such as books, group work, therapy, coaching and/or counseling) to build self‑awareness and address strengths and weaknesses.

Real change happens when motivation is turned into regular effort and practicing healthier habits. Support is available, you’re not expected to do this work by yourself, individual sessions are a place to feel heard and encouraged as you grow—at your own pace.

From Pathwork Lecture #204 What Is The Path?*

In life there’s an exchange: intimacy, communication, sharing, mutual love, giving and receiving of warmth and openness. Also, everyone needs recognition for what he or she offers. But there’s a difference between wanting recognition in a healthy way and over-dependence on external validation to where you don’t have a sense of self without it.

The decision to this work must be made realistically. Getting to know yourself on a deeper level is a significant and meaningful journey. However it can be challenging to walk alone…..help is available.

Pathwork Is Not

Pathwork is not psychotherapy: While it works with emotions, defenses, and distortions, this is only the first phase. The deeper purpose is awakening the spiritual consciousness within.
Pathwork is not spiritual bypass: It does not aim for blissful states while avoiding negativity. Any path that tries to “jump over” the lower self creates illusion and instability.

Pathwork Is

A two-phase journey

  1. Facing and transforming negativity—misconceptions, destructive attitudes, fear, pain, and defenses.
  2. Activating the spiritual self—the deeper consciousness already present within.

Basic Concepts:
The Role of Longing: When genuine it drives self-responsibility; when false if it demands rescue from outside.
Examining Dualistic Confusion: Moves past either/or thinking to a more integrated truth.
The Necessity of Feeling: • Pain, fear, and negative emotions must be felt directly, not avoided or acted out. • Feeling them releases energy, dissolves knots, and opens access to pleasure and spiritual flow.
Responsibility and Creation: • Thoughts, feelings, and attitudes are creative forces shaping life circumstances. • Avoiding inner negativity keeps it active & destructive. • Bringing awareness and positive intentionality transforms distorted energy back into its original essence.
